HJ’s “Tonight” Is A Platinum Record!

Kim Hyun Joong adds another beautiful feather in his cap – his album Tonight  is now a PLATINUM record!! Oh I’m so happy! With this, he joins the likes of Duran Duran, 3 Doors , Lenny Kravitz, Abba, John Mayer & many more artists with superlative success and international recognition! I could not be more proud of Hyun Joong! For those of you who are not aware of it, A platinum record certification is given to an album of an artist that has sold two and a half million copies! The certification is given by Recording Industry Association of Japan to his album.

This guy just reaps and reaps accolades for his work (to many people’s annoyance! Kekeke). But you know what? He’s worked hard for it. He deserves it! Hyun Joong has got an amazing voice! He has the power of telling a story with just his voice. When he sings – I imagine colours! He’s one of the few artists who have touched me so deeply! For many years, people did not have any expectation on him & his singing ability. No one gave notice. But, he’s got everyone’s attention now! He’s got talented musicians with a good sense of musicality picking him & working with him. Because they realize he’s voice quality! I’m extremely glad about it! One of the best joys of being someone’s fan is to see the artist they love working really hard, improving their skills and bringing in new concepts & better quality of music to the table. And Hyun Joong has been steadily working towards it. To me, Timing brought home the fact that HJ’s music tastes are evolving. Ima Demo stamped it! It warms my heart to see Joongie take his singing ability so seriously and working so hard towards it. I’m sounding like a typical fangirl aren’t I? Well truth be told – I am one! And I am SO SO Happy! The world looks at platinum selling artists with reverence. Now our Joongie is one amongst them! How does it feel ladies? And gentlemen? 😀 Crazy good isn’t it?

Now let’s see how many tabloids will publish this shall we? Without the mention of the crazy psycho! We’ll see how many congratulate him for his dedication & hardwork. Watch how stupid comments against him pour in trying to bring him down. And you know what? Let’s turn a blind eye! We’ll revel in the glory while some get even more frustrated! The first thing – ok – the second thing that came to my mind after jumping around the house (I also spammed my mother’s phone with his pictures when I sent her the news over the phone, LOL) was – “Ohhh this is not going to go well with his detractors!”  So be prepared lovelies! There might be a lot of hate pouring in. People who know nothing about music & musicality will be flocking everywhere to vent out their grievances. DO NOT let it affect you! Remember truth & honest to God good work brings in miracle! It could not have come at a better time than now! This will be like a huge moral boost for him! Oh! I hope he knows about it & feels happy about it! He’s capable. More than capable! He just has to realize it! And I’m sure he has by now & has started working on it!

My message to my fellow Henecians: Congratulations babies! Our man has achieved commendable career milestone! Let’s celebrate this! Being a Platinum selling artist means that his album has sold one million copies. This means there is a huge market for his music. This also means that HJ will still have people wanting to work with him once he gets back from the MS. Believe in that. If you can’t believe me, believe in his talent and his promise to us that he will be back with an even more amazing rooster of music just for all of us! I hope all of you are working towards your goals for the next two years because he’ll be back! I am now very excited for his comeback! I want to fast forward the next two years! Hope the day comes soon! Be nice to haters, they’ll really be hurting right now. Let’s not stoop to their level. We’re better than that! I’m so glad I have all of you to share & fangirl this news with! Fighting! ❤ My message to Kim Hyun Joong: Joongie! Many many congratulations on achieving this amazing feat! This is a moment to remember for you! I hope you have realized how special you are & what power you have. I wish you would utilize it a little for your good LOL!
